Disney-ABC Preps Inauguration Coverage

BURBANK, January 9: The
Disney-ABC Television Group is bringing viewers exclusive access to U.S.
president-elect Barack Obama's historic first inaugural ball appearance as well
as an inaugural kids' concert hosted by Michelle Obama, Jill Biden and their
families.

ABC will broadcast The
Neighborhood Ball: An Inauguration Celebration
, which will include the president and first lady's
first dance of the night, Obama's initial speech of the evening and
performances and appearances by top recording artists and stars. The event will
air live from the Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C. on January
20 at 8 p.m.

On January 19 at 8 p.m., Disney Channel will present Kids'
Inaugural: We Are The Future
, a concert celebration from the Verizon Center in
Washington, D.C. honoring military families. The event will be simulcast on
Radio Disney, and will be streamed on Disney.com immediately following the
culmination of the telecast on Disney Channel.

Anne
Sweeney, the co-chair of Disney Media Networks and president Disney-ABC

The Presidential Inaugural
