DISH Restores Court TV Carriage

ATLANTA/ENGLEWOOD, February 12: Court TV is back on EchoStar
Communications Corporation’s DISH Network, after Turner Broadcasting System
pulled the service at the end of last year once negotiations between the two
companies broke down.

EchoStar did not reveal financial details of the carriage
agreement, which restores Court TV to DISH’s more than 13 million subscribers
after an absence of about 6 weeks. Turner pulled Court TV off the DTH platform
on January 1 in a dispute with EchoStar over licensing fees. Turner said at the
time: “They were unwilling to pay the standard industry rate for a popular
network that is currently ranked in the Top 20.”

Announcing the restored carriage today, EchoStar and Turner
said only that they were “pleased” with the financial terms of the agreement.
