DISH Carriage for FOX Business

NEW YORK: FOX Business Network (FBN) has launched on DISH Network to 4 million subscribers, while its sister FOX News Channel (FNC) has renewed its carriage agreement with the satellite TV provider.

The financial news channel FBN now has distribution in some 50 million homes across the U.S. Starting today, the network is available through DISH Network’s Classic Gold 250, formerly known as America’s Top 250 package. FNC, a 24-hour general news service, now joins Classic Bronze 100, formerly known as America’s Top 100 package, increasing its distribution to more than 11 million DISH Network subscribers. Both networks will be available to DISH subscribers in HD.

Tim Carry, the networks’ senior VP of affiliate relations, said, "We’re pleased to count DISH Network as our newest FBN affiliate and look forward providing their subscribers with up-to-the-minute breaking business news reports during one of the most important times in our history for financial news."

He added, "The inclusion of FOX News on Classic Bronze 100 is a milestone for the network. We are grateful for the opportunity DISH Network has given FOX News to continue to expand our audience as the number one cable news provider in the country."
