Discovery Channel Celebrates Taiwan’s 100th Anniversary

SINGAPORE: Discovery Channel and the Taiwan Government Information Office have aligned for the three-part special Taiwan Revealed, celebrating the country’s centennial this year.

Taiwan Revealed: The Presidential Office looks at this iconic building and provides a never-before-seen look into how its run on a daily basis. Taiwan Revealed: Spirit of Heritage follows four individuals who are each striving to uphold an ancient tradition. Taiwan Revealed: Spirit of Innovation looks at how the country is undergoing a technological revolution. The special is filmed in HD.

President of the Republic of China (ROC), Ma Ying-Jeou, said, “I see the Presidential Building every day but only realized its magnificence when viewed through Discovery Channel’s lens. As the Presidential Building is nearly a century old, the show gives the people of Taiwan an opportunity to learn more about an extraordinary landmark that’s steeped in history.”
