TV SHOW: Dibo the Gift Dragon is a 3-D CGI animation series with 52

charming series.

SYNOPSIS: The edutainment show explains how to
handle problems through sharing, caring and embracing friendship. Dibo fills
children’s imaginative world with color, music, fun and laughter.

Dibo is a
bighearted, soft, fluffy, purple gift dragon stuffed with presents and magic.
He lives in a wondrous place called Cozy Land, where puppets and toys come to
life and everything is made of cloth, wool and plush. In Cozy Land, gracious
Annie, know-it-all Cro, energetic Elo and always self-conscious Bunny tackle
challenges and make wishes. Their dreams and wishes come in the form of “gifts”
granted by Dibo. Every day, Dibo is happy to give the Cozy Land residents a
present that is the perfect solution to their difficulties or problems.

broadcasting rights for the Benelux and Canal J International has picked the TV

Singapore, YoYo TV in Taiwan, Nickelodeon Asia in India, Disney Playhouse in
Latin America and South East Asia, RAI 2 in Italy, Canal Panda in Portugal, Al
Jazeera Children’s Channel in Qatar and HOP Channel in Israel.

MERCHANDISE: In Taiwan, home video and publishing
deals have been closed with Eastern Broadcasting Co Ltd. for the development of
Dibo DVDs and fun storybooks. Random House is bringing a diverse book
collection to the Spanish market, including Dibo cloth books, board books, flap
books and bath books. Home-video rights for Portugal are held by Prisvideo.

STRATEGY
FOR ROLLOUT:
“With the
warm reactions from the market and TV sales secured so far, the longer term
strategy is to deliver a successful licensing and merchandising program for
Dibo, territory by territory,” says Tony Kim, the CEO of Cocaban Co Ltd.

Telescreen is
bringing the property to the Benelux, Nordic and Eastern European markets,
presenting Dibo to broadcasting, home entertainment and licensing partners in
those territories. “We strongly believe that millions of children and their
parents will fall madly in love with the gracious gift dragon, as he is the big
brother that kids dream about,” says Sjoerd Raemakers, the director of
commercial affairs at Telescreen.

In addition to
Nickelodeon Benelux, CNR Kids is on board as home-video partner, with Memphis
Belle publishing tie-in books for distribution in the Benelux territory.

Kim continues,
“Now Nickelodeon Benelux has confirmed their TV broadcasting plans, Telescreen
is highly active in the licensing rollout. A good TV exposure together with
solid key licensees will have a synergy effect and hopefully Dibo can be
established as a long-term brand.”
