DHX Acquires imX

HALIFAX, July 21: DHX
Media, the parent company of DECODE Entertainment, has completed its
acquisition of Canadian film production company imX Communications for
C$755,000.

imX is led by Chris Zimmer
and known for releases such as Love and Death on Long Island with John Hurt and Jason Priestley and Margaret's
Museum
with Helena Bonham-Carter.
The acquisition includes the imX library of 20 feature films and 26 half-hours
of TV drama, documentary and animation. The purchase price includes C$655,000
in cash and 67,552 common shares of DHX.

Zimmer will join DHX Media
under a consulting and non-competition agreement and continue to lead imX
Communications in developing and producing feature-film projects with a strong
focus on family and children's films.
