eOne Teaming with Fisher-Price on Peppa Pig


TORONTO/LONDON: Entertainment One (eOne) is partnering with Fisher-Price in the U.S. to develop a toy line based on the preschool series Peppa Pig.

Since its U.S. debut in February, the show ranks in Nick Jr.’s top ten shows, with more than 500,000 viewers in the 2- to 5-year-old age range.

Darren Throop, the president and CEO of eOne, commented: “The initial success of the TV ratings illustrates the potential of the show and the confidence we have that the brand will be a big hit with US consumers."
