DECODE’s Naturally Sadie Heads to Nick Germany

TORONTO/LONDON, October
29: DECODE Entertainment has inked a deal to bring the first two seasons of its
tween live-action series Naturally Sadie, totaling 39 episodes, to Nickelodeon Germany.

Alongside the Germany
deal, other Nickelodeon channels have picked up the third season of the series,
completing their acquisition of all 65 available episodes. Those channels
include Nickelodeon in Australia, Italy, Israel, Scandinavia, Spain and the
U.K. In addition, 7 Arts in the Middle East has acquired the third season and
France’s Planete Junior has picked up season one.

Naturally Sadie has sold worldwide to broadcasters in more than 90
countries including to Disney Channel in the U.S., ABC Australia, Nickelodeon
Asia, Family Channel in Canada and France 2.

The series centers on
Sadie, a high school student and budding naturalist who is passionate about
global warming and ecological changes, as she deals with her various romantic
entanglements, lively array of friends and her older brother, Hal.

Naturally Sadie has built a strong following internationally as
illustrated by the Nickelodeon Germany deal and the commitment of major
broadcasters to the third season,” said Dominique Bazay, the VP of distribution
at DECODE Entertainment. “With established shows Naturally Sadie and Radio Free Roscoe complemented by our new series The Latest Buzz and Cartoon Network’s My Spy Family, we have a robust live-action programming slate.”
