DECODE’s Franny’s Feet Scores New Sale

TORONTO/LONDON, February
26: DECODE Enterprises has sold its hit preschool property Franny’s Feet to the Disney Channel in the U.K.

The series, which follows
a little girl with magical shoes, is a commission by Canada’s Family Channel and
the U.K.’s Five, where it airs as part of the channel’s Milkshake preschool strand. Franny’s Feet can currently be seen in more than 150 countries
worldwide, including Australia, France, Germany, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Italy,
Denmark and Singapore. In the U.S., the series has
garnered successful ratings on PBS member stations in markets including Boston,
Chicago, Dallas, Baltimore and Salt Lake City.

Neil Court, the president
of DECODE Enterprises, said: “This deal with Disney in the U.K. underscores the
character’s global appeal. Franny has her feet firmly in the U.S. and
international markets through significant broadcast sales and 2008 will see the
brand further established through the rollout of consumer products.”
