DECODE Notches Up Asian Deals

TORONTO/LONDON: Ahead of the Asia Television Forum, DECODE Enterprises has firmed up a string of sales in Asia across its preschool catalogue, which includes Franny’s Feet.

okto in Singapore has picked up Super WHY! alongside deals for Halifax Films’ action-adventure series Animal Mechanicals and Adastra Creative’s live-action Grandpa In my Pocket.

True Visions in Thailand has snapped up Franny’s Feet, Bo on the GO! from Halifax Film and Poppetstown, a Canada-Spain co-production produced with the participation of Sony Creative Products. Sun TV of India went for a trio of preschool shows, including all available episodes of Franny’s Feet, Super WHY! and Martha Speaks.

Craig McGillivray, the territory manager for Asia, Japan and Latin America at DECODE, said: “As these deals show, Asia continues to be a major market for us, particularly in the preschool arena. We’re looking forward to further strengthening our relationships with broadcast partners in the region next month at ATF.”
