DECODE Lands New Deals for The Latest Buzz

TORONTO/LONDON, July 31:
DECODE Entertainment has been commissioned to produce a third season of The
Latest Buzz
, while seasons one and
two have scored new broadcast partners, including Cartoon Network Latin
America.

The new season of the
live-action teen series for Canada’s Family Channel will bring the number of
episodes available for the international market to 65. The series focuses on
five 14-year-olds who work at a youth magazine during school.

Cartoon
Network Latin America, Nickelodeon Spain, Digiturk, Ireland’s RTE and Canada’s VRAK.TV
have acquired both seasons one and two of The Latest Buzz, while Cartoon Network Germany has picked up
season one. These broadcasters join Boomerang in the U.K., Super RTL, ABC
Australia and Disney Channels in France, Italy and India as licensees for the
series.

Neil Court,
the president of DECODE Enterprises, said: “Creating live-action shows with
international appeal for this demographic is a challenge but The Latest Buzz has universal themes at its core. The
new-season commission and further international deals for the series shows that
we’re hitting the right note with our live-action output.”
