Deal or No Deal Set for Syndication Rollout

UNIVERSAL CITY, October
10: NBC Universal Domestic Television Distribution is launching a syndicated
version of the hit Endemol NBC game show Deal or No Deal in the fall of 2008, with Howie Mandel on board as
host.

The new half-hour edition
is being sold to local stations for a Monday to Friday broadcast. NBC Universal
affiliates that have signed up for the new series with Mandel (who will
continue to host the prime-time edition) include WNBC-TV New York, KNBC-TV Los
Angeles, WMAQ-TV in Chicago, WCAU-TV Philadelphia, KNTV-TV San Francisco and
others. Deals have also been secured with stations from CBS, Allbritton,
Scripps, Sinclair and more.

Deal or No Deal was NBC's most watched program of the 2006-2007 TV
season, averaging 15 million viewers per telecast. The series was also
NBC.com's biggest draw last season, attracting nearly 20 percent of all
visitors to the network's website.

First launched in Holland
in 2002, the format has aired in more than 80 markets. It has also successfully
aired as a Monday-through-Friday strip in more than 30 countries globally,
including the U.K., France, Germany and Spain.
