Daro Takes Echo Bridge Titles

CANNES: An exclusive distribution agreement has been signed between Echo Bridge Entertainment and Daro Film Distribution for a slate of movies and feature films, drama series and children’s fare from the Alliance Atlantis International Distribution catalogue throughout Africa.

The agreement includes the eighth season of the hit series Degrassi: The Next Generation, as well as the new Lifetime TV movie Taken In Broad Daylight. Daro Film Distribution will now distribute across Africa a roster that also includes 91 episodes of the prime-time drama series Da Vinci’s Inquest, 67 episodes of Due South, 88 Episodes of PSI Factor: Chronicles of the Paranormal, 22 episodes of Total Recall 2070 and 110 episodes of Gene Roddenberry’s Earth: Final Conflict. Prime-time movies include Hitler: Rise of Evil, Nuremberg and the historical World War II drama Haven. In the teen category are 52 episodes of the musical drama Instant Star, while kids’ fare includes 46 half-hour episodes of the preschool series Lunar Jim and 39 half-hours of the CGI-animated Dragon Booster.

"Daro Film Distribution has longstanding relationships with broadcasters throughout the territory and with our catalogue, is now likely the largest independent provider of programming in these territories."
