Culpepper Upped at Nat Geo

WASHINGTON, February 5:
National Geographic Television (NGT) has promoted three executives, including
Maryanne Culpepper, who was named the executive VP of editorial and new
business development.

In her new role, Culpepper
will be responsible for managing editorial partnerships, taking the lead for NGT
in co-production opportunities and spearheading corporate and foundation
fundraising efforts, as well as new business development. Most recently,
Culpepper served as the senior VP of editorial development, overseeing story
development for all NGT programming.

The company has also
announced the promotion of Carrie Regan to the position of VP of development
for series and Malvina Martin to the VP of development for specials.
