NEW YORK: A host of brand-new original series are headed to the Cooking Channel lineup this fall, to feature culinary talents such as Rachael Ray and Bobby Flay.

Fall premieres include My Life in Food, launching September 10, from executive producer Al Roker. The show provides an intimate look at people whose lives are transformed through food. On September 25, Rachael Ray’s Week in a Day makes its debut. This spotlights Ray’s bold new cooking concept for busy families, one day of cooking resulting in five days of meals. Bitchin’ Kitchen follows on October 7. Chef/comedienne Nadia G. provides a bad girls’ irreverent take of life and food in this series.

Further premieres include The Minimalist, debuting on October 10, based on Mark Bittman’s popular New York Times column. Brunch @ Bobby’s, launching on October 16, spotlights Bobby Flay. In November, Kelsey’s Essentials, starring Kelsey Nixon, season four fan favorite on The Next Food Network Star, makes its debut, followed by United Tastes of America (working title), hosted by Jeffrey Saad.
