Cookie Jar to Launch New Action-Adventure Show

LOS ANGELES, October 3: Under the banner of its Coliseum
brand for action-adventure programming, Cookie Jar Entertainment is launching
at MIPCOM the animated series Johnny Test.

Johnny Test has been airing on Kids’ WB! and was recently picked up for
a second season. Other deals include Teletoon Canada, Daro Film Distribution
for South Africa and the Middle East, and Nickelodeon Europe. The show chronicles
the adventures of a fearless 11-year-old boy, his genetically engineered super
dog Dukey and his 13 year-old twin-teen-prodigy-nuclear-scientist-inventor
sisters, Susan and Mary, who use Johnny as their guinea pig for their
out-of-this-world scientific experiments.

Also available at MIPCOM will be Coliseum’s first property, Spider
Riders
, a co-production
of Cookie Jar Entertainment and Japanese advertising agency Yomiko; alongside The Doodlebops and the long-running preschool
show Caillou,
recently licensed to TLN Television Network (Canada), ABC Australia, ATV in
Hong Kong and EBS South Korea, among others.
