LOS ANGELES: Content Television has acquired the worldwide distribution rights to the family film The Big Goofy Secret of Hidden Pines, in a deal with Harmony Gold.

This is the fourth feature film produced by Harmony Gold that Content Television has picked up for distribution. Content Media also distributes the Harmony Gold library worldwide.

The Big Goofy Secret of Hidden Pines is set in a small town where everyone knows everybody else’s business. One of the town’s most respected families winds up living with a Sasquatch named Bertie, and things get complicated as the Bigfoot tries to hide form the local authorities.

“I have worked with and respected Greg Phillips for close to 25 years now,” commented Frank Agrama, the chairman and CEO of Harmony Gold. “Content Television is the perfect company to distribute our feature films and I am confident that they will once again achieve success beyond our expectations. I would also like to thank Saralo MacGregor for her leadership and hard work on behalf of our films.”

Greg Phillips, the president of Content Television, added, “Frank, Henri and Jess have delivered another super movie to us. Bertie’s endearing character, not to mention his rollercoaster ride throughout the film, will provide fun and entertainment for family audiences around the world. This is the next step in what has been and will continue to be a hugely enjoyable and successful relationship with Frank and Harmony Gold."
