Conecta FICTION Reveals Advisory Board Members

Conecta FICTION, a new international co-pro and networking TV event being held in Spain this June, has announced the members of its advisory board, comprising ten experts from various companies and countries.

Among the members are María José Arrojo, subdirector for MPXA in Spain; Nuno Bernardo, CEO and producer at Be Active in Portugal; Alfonso Blanco, CEO and producer at Porto Cabo in Spain; María Cervera, head of international co-productions for Plano a Plano in Spain; and Ludovica Fonda, head of international drama at R.T.I. Mediaset Group in Italy.

Also joining the advisory board are María Iregui, executive VP of strategy at RCN Televisión in Colombia; Alex Lagomarsino, CEO and partner at Mediabiz in the U.S. and Argentina; Fernando Lopez Puig, head of film and fiction at RTVE in Spain; Sandra Ouaiss, head of international co-productions at Newen in France; and Moritz Polter, executive producer for international television series at Bavaria Fernsehproduktion in Germany.

Conecta FICTION also unveiled further details for its International Pitching Session. Participants can submit their TV series or miniseries until April 15 for the chance to pitch their project in front of key decision-makers and investors. Out of the submissions—which can be in English or Spanish—ten will be chosen to be part of the International Pitching Session. Movistar+ has agreed to offer a contract to develop one of the ten series selected by Conecta FICTION’s editorial committee. The winner will be announced during the event.
