Comedy Central to Roast Charlie Sheen

NEW YORK: Comedy Central is to host a roast of actor Charlie Sheen in Los Angeles on September 10, for a premiere on September 19 at 10 p.m.

“Charlie has assured us that nothing will be off limits in this Roast… which scares even us,” said Kent Alterman, the head of original programming and production at Comedy Central.

“You could say I’ve been providing kindling for this Roast for a while,” added Sheen. “It’s time to light it up. It’s going to be epic.”

The Comedy Central Roast of Charlie Sheen will be executive produced by Joel Gallen of Tenth Planet Productions, who was also the executive producer and director of other Comedy Central roasts. Jonas Larsen is the executive in charge for the network.
