Come Dine with Me Canada Returns to W Network

TORONTO: Proper Television is shooting 80 new episodes of Come Dine with Me Canada for W Network, increasing the series total to 120 half-hour shows.

The series is produced by Proper Television in association with W Network and is based on a format created by ITV Studios. “No one’s ever asked us for 80 episodes of anything before!” said Guy O’Sullivan, the president of Proper Television. "This combined with our other long-running shows means we now have a really strong platform for further growth."

“We couldn’t be happier that our audience responded to the first season of Come Dine with Me Canada so quickly and enthusiastically,” added Vibika Bianchi, the VP of original programming for lifestyle, reality and factual entertainment at Corus Entertainment. “We’re thrilled that we will be offering our loyal viewers a double helping for the second season with 80 new episodes targeted for a late summer launch.”
