Cineflix Spotlights Formats

LONDON: Cineflix International Distribution (CID) is showcasing a lineup of formats at MIPCOM that includes new series such as Inside the Box with Ty Pennington.

Inside the Box with Ty Pennington watches amateur designers compete in decorating duels. Also new to the Cineflix formats slate are Dinner Party Wars, a competition between couples about who is the best host, and In Law Wedding Wars, which mixes in weddings and mothers-in-law. CID has added new titles to its specialist factual catalogue as well, with Python Hunters, tracking elite snake hunters; Murder She Solved, spotlighting policewomen who have solved complex homicide cases; and Animal Mega Moves, the latest in Cineflix’s Mega Moves strand.

CID’s president, Paul Heaney, said: “Cineflix International has achieved significant increase in turnover year to year. We believe the quality and variety of our MIPCOM slate—and particularly the caliber of our three headline formats—will drive us to even greater results as we move into 2011.”
