Cineflix Hires Former BBC Worldwide Format Director

LONDON: As a further push into the formats arena, Cineflix International has hired Colin Jarvis, former BBC director of international formats, to work with the company as a consultant.

Jarvis will be working with Cineflix’s sales and distribution executives, focusing on the licensing and production sides of Cineflix’s formats business. He is tasked with adapting current Cineflix brands into international formats, in addition to augmenting the existing catalogue.

Cineflix’s CEO, Glen Salzman, said, “Establishing a thriving format production and distribution division is a major step in Cineflix’s overall growth strategy. With a fantastic track record driving the global production and sales of some of the world’s biggest formats, Colin is perfectly placed to help us achieve this aim.
