Chellomedia Buys Spanish Cable Channel Bouquet

LONDON/MADRID: Chellomedia has acquired from ONO Group a group of Spanish cable-TV channels that will be integrated into its Iberian arm, Chello Multicanal.

With the acquisition of the Teuve slate, Chello Multicanal becomes the largest channel operator in Spain and Portugal, reaching about 4 million pay-TV homes and scoring an average 16-percent viewing share. The combined bouquet of about 20 services spans the entertainment, music and factual genres.
