Channel [V] Taiwan to Launch on now TV Platform in Hong Kong

HONG KONG, May 30: STAR has reached a deal to launch its
music network Channel [V] Taiwan on the now TV IPTV platform in Hong Kong.

now TV is the exclusive Hong Kong distribution platform for
STAR channels. Channel [V] Taiwan joins now TV’s existing Channel [V] lineup—which includes
Channel [V] India, Channel [V] International and Channel [V] Mainland
China—effective tomorrow (May 31).

Channel [V] Taiwan brings viewers the latest music videos as
well as large-scale annual music events such as le party and [V] Power Concert, which draw tens
of thousands of music lovers to see popular Asian artists from across the
region. Channel [V] Taiwan also features the channel’s in-house produced
programs such as Blackie’s Teenage Club and Lollipop, which are
targeted at youth in Taiwan. The shows’ website, www.woo.com.tw, generates an
average of more than 1 million page views per day.
