Channel 4 Will Air Diana Crash Images

LONDON,
June 5: Despite pleas from Prince William and Prince Harry not to broadcast
pictures of the car crash that caused their mother’s death, Channel 4 will air Diana:
The Witnesses in the Tunnel
as planned
on Wednesday night at 9 p.m.

In
response to the growing controversy surrounding the documentary, Channel 4 will
air an extra program at 11 p.m. that will debate the issues raised by the
channel’s decision to broadcast the documentary, reports the Media Guardian.

The
follow-up debate show is reportedly part of Channel 4’s new policy of
addressing concerns about the programs its airs—a policy that comes on
the heals of the racism uproar that surrounded Big Brother earlier this year.
