CCI Plans Company-Wide Expansion

TORONTO, September 19: CCI
Entertainment has revealed plans for a multi-faceted expansion that will
include family feature acquisitions and further development of its
brand-licensing operation through the establishment of a new Los Angeles-based
office.

CCI is targeting the acquisition
of family entertainment properties from around the globe, and is currently in
discussions with several potential partners in the U.S., Europe, Canada and
China. This activity will be headed by CCI’s COO, Annette Frymer. As part of
the agenda, the company has acquired worldwide rights, excluding France, to Frankenstein’s
Cat
, as well as rights to several
other series including Wormwood, In Dreams and Beautiful Dreamer.

Arnie Zipursky, the
co-chairman and CEO of CCI Entertainment, commented: “With our strong presence
in the international market, thanks to key partnerships around the globe, we
are ideally situated to take this activity even further. Over the next few
months, we hope to announce several new acquisitions and are also actively
seeking new opportunities.”

The company is also
committed to enhancing its brand and licensing activity, in part with the
opening of a new office in Los Angeles where operations will be focused on
licensing, acquisitions and sales. Reporting to CCI’s co-chairman, Charles
Falzon, new executive appointments are imminent.
