CBS’s David Stapf & Armando Nuñez Joint Keynote to Be Moderated by Anna Carugati

NEW YORK: This year at MIPCOM, CBS executives David Stapf and Armando Nuñez will hold a joint keynote on Tuesday, October 14, that will be moderated by World Screen’s group editorial director, Anna Carugati.

The session will be held in the Grand Auditorium of the Palais des Festivals from 11:50 a.m. to 12:10 p.m. on Tuesday, October 14.

Nuñez, the president and CEO of CBS Global Distribution Group, and Stapf, the president of CBS Television Studios, have more than five decades of television production and international TV distribution experience between them. They will discuss a number of topics including the rise of event series, extending successful franchises, relationships with digital distribution partners, CBS's year-round programming strategy and the global appetite for CBS and Showtime content.

Among the many shows CBS Television Studios produces are the hit NCIS and CSI franchises, Under the Dome, Elementary, and multiple award-winning The Good Wife. David Stapf was named president of the studio in September 2004. He is responsible for overseeing all program development and production.

The CBS Global Distribution Group licenses CBS programming worldwide to more than 200 markets across multiple media platforms. Nuñez, who oversees all of CBS Corporation’s international and domestic distribution operations, has been with the company since 1999.

Stapf and Nuñez report directly to Leslie Moonves, the president and CEO of CBS Corporation.
