CBS Paramount Expands Reach for The Doctors

LOS ANGELES, September 5:
CBS Paramount International Television has notched up a host of new
broadcasters, including Virgin Media in the U.K. and Network Ten in Australia,
for the daily talk show The Doctors ahead of its launch in the U.S.

The new roster also
includes SBS in Norway, TV4 in Sweden, Viasat in Denmark and Hungary, RTE in
Ireland, 365 Media in Iceland and Pro Plus in Slovenia. This is in addition to
the previously announced deals with Canwest for Canada and MBC for the Middle
East.

The Doctors, from the creative team behind Dr. Phil, is a new one-hour syndicated daytime talk show.
The series will tape in front of a live audience.

“The Doctors has great appeal for the international marketplace
given the proven production team from Dr. Phil behind the scenes,” commented Armando Nunez, Jr.,
the president of CBS Paramount International Television. “The buzz garnered by
this show has made it a much sought after talk show worldwide.”
