CBeebies Takes DHX Titles

CANNES: Grandpa In My Pocket and dirtgirlworld have been picked up for broadcast on CBeebies global feeds through an agreement with DHX Media. 

The first three seasons of Grandpa In My Pocket will air for the first time in Africa, Asia and Poland, starting early 2011. dirtgirlworld, meanwhile, makes its debut in Africa and Poland. 

Bun Scrase-Dickins, the VP of acquisitions for BBC Worldwide Channels, said: “These are both great titles, hugely popular with kids in the U.K., and we are delighted to be able to bring them to our young viewers around the world.”
