Cartoon Network Nordic Takes Shaftesbury Shows

TORONTO: Turner Broadcasting Europe has scooped up Shaftesbury’s live-action tween hits Connor Undercover and Baxter for broadcast on Cartoon Network in Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland and Iceland.

This is Shaftesbury’s first deal with Turner Broadcasting in the Nordic region. Shane Kinnear, senior VP of sales, marketing and digital media at Shaftesbury, commented, “Featuring funny, universally engaging stories and characters, Connor Undercover and Baxter are a great fit for Cartoon Network."

Connor Undercover also airs on Starz Entertainment’s Kids & Family channel in the U.S., Family Channel in Canada, Nickelodeon in Germany, ABC in Australia, Boomerang in Latin America, Gulli in France, and VRT in Belgium. Baxter also airs on Starz Entertainment’s Kids & Family channel and Family Channel.
