Carsey-Werner to Rep New Caryn Mandabach Comedy

LOS ANGELES: Carsey-Werner International Television has taken on the worldwide distribution rights to In with the Flynns, the new comedy series from Caryn Mandabach Productions for BBC One.

The show stars Will Mellor and Niky Wardley as Liam and Caroline, a Manchester couple in their 30s raising three headstrong children: the uncontrollable teen Chloe and her younger brothers Mikey and Steve. Liam and Caroline receive parenting advice from Liam’s grouchy father Jim, played by Warren Clarke, and his brother Tommy (Craig Parkinson).

The six half-hour episodes are exec-produced by Mandabach and Jamie Glazebrook (The IT Crowd, The 11 O’clock Show). "This experience has been a delight,” said Mandabach, “not least because I’ve found that families here in the U.K. are just as extraordinary and funny as they are back in the U.S."
