BSkyB Exec Joins AETN European Team

NEW YORK/LONDON: AETN International has named Liz Higgins as the director of strategy and business development for its European operations.

Higgins will be based in London, and is responsible for formulating AETN’s growth strategy and investment activities across Europe for business lines such as channels and digital distribution. She will report to Dean Possenniski, the managing director for Europe. Higgins’ appointment takes effect January 2011. She joins from BSkyB, where she served as business development manager and was responsible for Sky News International.
