TORONTO: In anticipation of the premiere of the animated series Crash Canyon on TELETOON, Breakthrough Entertainment has launched the online game Crash Canyon Quest.

Crash Canyon Quest has both English and French versions where players can create a character in the world of Crash Canyon to unlock 15 mini games. Five expansion packs will be released throughout the year, adding additional quests, game locations and mini games.

The game was developed by the London/Ontario-based Big Blue Bubble. The Crash Canyon animated series was developed by The Simpsons’ co-executive producer Joel Cohen and produced by Breakthrough Entertainment, in association with TELETOON Canada. The series is about the Wendell family who accidentally drives off a cliff, plummeting two miles straight down into a canyon where they find a thriving community.

“We are excited to debut Crash Canyon Quest on TELETOON at Night’s English and French websites in advance of the animated series’ September launch,” said Dorothy Vreeker, the director of digital media at Breakthrough Entertainment. “The game brilliantly captures the spirit of the series and allows players to truly embrace this eccentric community.”

“Crash Canyon Quest is a fun and engaging game that reflects the irreverent humor and outrageous antics of the animated series,” added Gavin Friesen, the director of TELETOON Interactive. “The online game is certain to be a big hit with our audience.”
