Brazilian Producers Delegation Gears Up for MIPCOM

SÃO PAULO: A number of Brazilian animation content providers are headed to MIPCOM to showcase their product under the Brazilian TV Producers Association (BTVP) banner.

More than 35 companies are expected to attend with the BTVP delegation, including TV PinGuim, Mixer, 2DLab, 44 Toons, Medialand, Synapse, Moonshot, Elo Audiovisual, Amazing Graphics, Belli Studio, Santo Forte, Cinema Animadores, among others. New animated properties include TV PingGuims Gemini 8, and season two of  Fishtrounaut and the company is seeking co-production partners for Earth to Luna. Brazilian animation studio Mixer will showcase Julie & Os Fantasmas, Brilhante Futebol Clube, Sítio do Picapau Amarelo and Escola Pra Cachorro (Doggy Day School). 2DLab is presenting the children’s series My Big Big Friend on Discovery Kids Latin America and will attend the market with plans to introduce the newest licensing initiatives for the series launching its full line of licensed merchandise, with over 150 different product SKUs from ten different licensees.
