Bravo to Roll Out New Dance Series

NEW YORK, September 11:
Bravo has begun casting for Step It Up, a new dance reality competition series from Magical Elves’ producers
Jane Lipsitz and Dan Cutforth, the Emmy-nominated team behind the Bravo hits Project
Runway and Top Chef.

Wetterberg for Magical Elves, Step It Up will bring together dancers from around the country in a challenge to
master every dance style, from ballet and ballroom to Broadway and burlesque,
to showcase their versatility. Contestants will be eliminated out until only
one person remains to receive the final “call back,” along with a cash prize
and the chance to perform.

"Step It Up pulls back the curtain on one of the most lively
arts and one of America's favorite pastimes—dance," said Frances
Berwick, Bravo’s executive VP of programming and production. "Like other
creative professions, dance inherently has all the ingredients of competition
and drama that make Bravo shows so compelling to watch."
