NEW YORK: David O’Connell has been promoted to senior VP of production and operations at Bravo, while Christian McLaughlin becomes the VP of production.

O’Connell will continue to report to Frances Berwick, the president of Bravo Media, and will be based in Burbank. He will continue to oversee production for Bravo, supervising all aspects related to the production of original series and specials for the network. O’Connell joined Bravo in 2004 as supervising producer. Prior to joining the network, he was at World of Wonder, managing series and specials.

McLaughlin reports to Shari Levine, the senior VP of production, and will be based in New York. He will oversee the production of Work of Art: The Next Great Artist, Rocco’s Dinner Party and Roblé & Co, among other programs. McLaughlin previously held a seven-year tenure with VH1, where he oversaw the development and production for several pilots and served as executive producer on a number of series.

“David has been an outstanding member of our production team for the last six years,” stated Berwick. “His leadership and industry expertise has been integral to Bravo’s success as the network continues to strengthen its pop culture brand and produce the next evolution of watercooler hits.”

“Christian brings an extensive wealth of experience in both production and development,” said Levine. “I’m confident that his creativity and background will be major assets as Bravo continues to generate creative content that continue to resonate with our audience.”
