BlueHighways TV, Verizon FiOS TV in New Carriage Deal

HENDERSONVILLE, April 28:
BlueHighways TV (BHTV), a multiplatform network that explores the people,
stories, traditions and music of America, has reached a carriage agreement that
will make its linear service available to Verizon FiOS TV subscribers later
this year.

BHTV's VOD service has
been offered in Verizon homes since December 2007. BHTV programming features
roots music, including bluegrass, blues, folk western, gospel and traditional
country, outdoor adventure and agriculture, lifestyle, cooking, equestrian and
a variety of other subjects. Original programming available on the network
includes American Journeys, a
one-hour documentary-style program that looks at the diverse land and people of
America; The BHTV Sampler,
featuring segments about lifestyle, traditions, characters and music that
provide insight into Americana; the 30-minute travelogue Due West; Heart To Heart, featuring sit-down interviews with the stars and
old legends of country, gospel, western and bluegrass to talk and play the
music that has shaped their lives; Old Country Church, a tribute to American roots told through
traditional, country and bluegrass gospel music and stories from church elders
and historians; Reno's Old Time Music Festival, spotlighting bluegrass music; and Woodsongs, a one-hour program that is filmed live from the
Kentucky Theater in Lexington and features the best in bluegrass and folk
music.

"Verizon's FiOS TV
markets represent an exciting addition for BlueHighways TV," said Stan
Hitchcock, the chairman and CEO of BlueHighways TV. "These communities are
connected and involved in the roots music and bluegrass scene, and this is the
true backbone of BHTV—the fans, festivals and musicians. With
BlueHighways TV's presence at regional roots music events nationwide, this is
an exciting partnership."
