Bionic Woman Wins Competitive Slot in 18-49

BURBANK, September 28:
In the hotly contested Wednesday 9 p.m. slot, Bionic Woman won the night in the coveted 18-49 demographic
against ABC’s Private Practice,
CBS’s Criminal Minds and FOX’s Ramsay’s
Kitchen Nightmares.

Bionic Woman followed by Life at 10 p.m., which propelled NBC to a 37-percent
gain in the demo and 49-percent growth in total viewers versus the opening
Wednesday night of last season.

Bionic Woman scored a 5.5 rating and 14 share in adults 18-49
with 13.6 million viewers overall, winning that demo as well as adults 25-54
and all key adult male demos. The Universal Media Studios-produced series was
also NBC's highest-rated program in this time period in nearly three years,
excluding the Olympics. This marks NBC's highest-rated Wednesday new series
premiere among adults 18-49 since The West Wing in 1999. It's also the top-rated new series
premiere to date for the 2007-08 television season.
