Big Time Rush Finds New Slots

NEW YORK, July 14: Viacom International Media Networks has closed a series of new deals on the Nickelodeon and Sony Music co-production Big Time Rush in Europe and Latin America.

RTE in Ireland and ORF in Austria have opted for season one, while Italy’s Mediaset and Norway’s NRK went for both seasons. The show has also sold to Four in New Zealand.

Season one has also been picked up by Televisa in Mexico, Venevision in Venezuela, Teletica in Costa Rica, Antena Latina in the Dominican Republic, Teleamazonas in Ecuador, Monte Carlo TV in Uruguay, Megavision in Chile, Unitel in Bolivia and TV Hondureña in Honduras.

Big Time Rush is about four friends in a popular boy band in Los Angeles, California. It was created by Scott Fellows, creator and executive producer of Ned’s Declassified School Survival Guide.
