Big Brother Re-commissioned by Channel 4 till 2010

LONDON, December 1: Channel 4 in the U.K. has commissioned Big
Brother for another three years, keeping
the show on the British broadcaster until 2010.

The extended Big Brother
commission includes the spinoff programming Celebrity Big Brother, Big Brother/Little Brother and Big Brother/Big Mouth.

The British version of the hit Dutch format launched in July
2000 and has proven to be a multiplatform hit for Channel 4. Big Brother 7 attracted an average audience of 4.7 million
viewers, up on the previous season, which delivered an average 4.5 million.

The U.K. version is produced by the Endemol U.K. company
Brighter Pictures Production.
