Beyond Scores Sales in the Americas

SYDNEY: Beyond Distribution has sold a raft of titles, including Monster Bug Wars and How Beer Saved the World, to broadcasters across the Americas.

Beyond Productions’ Monster Bug Wars, a Science Channel original, went to Canal D in Canada, which also picked up Discovery’s How Beer Saved the World and CBC’s Cat Crazed. The lifestyle show Design DNA was acquired by Science Channel. Design DNA was also part of a package that went to National Geographic Mundo/Fox, along with Crash Investigation Unit and The Property Shop.

Sherry Fynbo, the VP of the Americas for Beyond Distribution, commented, “We launched Design DNA at MIP and the deals were closed straight away for French Canada, the U.S.A., U.S. Hispanic and Latin America. The demand for factual programming remains high and we are excited to be one of the top suppliers to the world’s biggest channels.”
