Beverley McGarvey Officially Named to Ten Programming Role

SYDNEY: Beverley McGarvey, who was among the recipients of this year’s World Screen Content Trendsetter Awards, has been appointed chief programming officer of Network Ten, a post she has held on an acting basis since August.

McGarvey took up the post of acting chief programming offer on August 24. Her official appointment to the role is effective immediately. She joined Network Ten as the head of programming in 2006, coming from TV3 in New Zealand, where she was the director of programming for two years.

James Warburton, Network Ten’s CEO, said: “We are delighted to appoint Beverley to her new role.

“Beverley is an outstanding television executive. Her creativity, strategic thinking and programming and scheduling skills will be invaluable in the renewal of our creative content.”
