Berlinale Special Series Include Cleverman, Better Call Saul

BERLIN: Series from Denmark, the U.K., Israel, Australia, New Zealand and the U.S. round off the Berlinale Special program at the Haus der Berliner Festspiele.

The selected series include season two of Better Call Saul (AMC & Netflix, U.S.), making its international premiere; Cleverman (ABC, Australia; SundanceTV, U.S.), set for its world premiere; Love, Nina (BBC, U.K.), also making its world premiere; and The Night Manager (BBC, U.K.; AMC, U.S.), another world premiere. Also part of the selection are Splitting Up Together (TV 2, Denmark), with a world premiere, and The Writer (Keshet Broadcasting, Israel; IBA Israel Broadcasting Authority), an international premiere.

In addition, two episodes of the Netflix series Cooked will be shown as part of the Culinary Cinema program. The series, produced by Alex Gibney, is based on Michael Pollan’s eponymous bestseller.
