NEW YORK: Two new appointments have been made within BBC Worldwide’s licensed consumer products division: Carla Peyton and Ian Wickham.

Peyton is to become the senior VP of licensed consumer products for BBC Worldwide Americas. Wickham becomes head of retail development for licensed consumer products for the U.K., Ireland and EMEA. Peyton will be based in New York, while Wickham joins the London team. Both roles report directly to Tom Keefer, the senior VP of global licensed consumer products.

These appoints follow the recent announcement of Bob Traub being named senior VP of retail development for licensed consumer products for the Americas. The newly structured teams see Peyton supporting Keefer on the licensing front for the U.S., Canada and Latin America. Traub leads the team’s retail efforts. In the U.K., Keefer is supported by Richard Hollis, the head of U.K. licensing, with Wickham leading the U.K. and EMEA retail efforts alongside Jackie Ferguson, licensing manager for EMEA. Keefer continues to report to Neil Ross Russell, the managing director of children’s global brands and licensed consumer products.

Keefer commented of the new appointments: “I am delighted to welcome Carla and Ian to the team. Both have impressive industry backgrounds and will play an integral role in establishing BBC Worldwide as a key player in the licensing industry. With their input, I’m confident that we’ll see our already thriving business taken to new heights.”
