Battlestar Galactica Exec Producer Joins Banff Lineup

TORONTO: Ronald D. Moore, the writer and executive producer of Battlestar Galactica, has been added to the Master Class speaker lineup at the Banff World Television Festival, which is celebrating its 30th edition this June 7 to 10.

“Banff’s Master Class series host some of the world’s most talented and successful TV creators,” commented Peter Vamos, Banff’s executive director. “This is the place to hear firsthand the incredible knowledge and experience directly from the industry’s leading producers.”

The Peabody Award-winning Battlestar Galactica last week wrapped its fourth and final season on SCI FI. Moore was recently invited to participate in a Battlestar Galactica retrospective hosted by the U.N. to discuss moral issues ranging from human rights to the downfalls of technology brought up in the acclaimed show. He is now at work on Caprica, a prequel to the Battlestar series.
