Banijay Revenues Rise 1.6 Percent in 2025

In 2025, Banijay Group’s revenues increased 1.6 percent year-over-year to €4.88 billion, while Banijay Entertainment & Live revenues dipped 1.8 percent.

Production revenues dropped 3.6 percent to €2.52 billion in 2025. The 2025 Banijay scripted pipeline included The Gardener, Culpa Nuestra, The Buccaneers season two, NCIS: Sydney season three and Mrs Playmen, among others. For unscripted, Banijay saw Last One Laughing expand to 11 teritories; the launch of Temptation Island on Netflix; and six versions commissioned for Shaolin Heroes, The Summit and The Fifty.

Distribution revenues slipped 7.2 percent to €368 million. The year was marked by the sale of major finished tapes, including Grantchester, Home and Away, Mr Bean and The Office, alongside the continued strong performances of flagship formats such as MasterChef, Survivor, Big Brother and Deal or No Deal. At the end of the year, the number of hours in the catalog exceeded 225,000, an increase of around 19,000 hours compared to December 2024.

As Banijay Entertainment prepares to merge with All3Media, as announced earlier this week, that segment saw 2025 revenues decrease to €3.29 billion, compared to €3.35 billion in 2024.

“Banijay Group delivered a strong performance in 2025, with revenue approaching €4.9 billion and adjusted EBITDA up 8.6 percent, driving further margin expansion and strong cash generation,” said François Riahi, CEO of Banijay Group. “In a year marked by a challenging production backdrop and a softer sports calendar, our diversified model once again demonstrated its growth potential.”
