HONG KONG: FOX International Channels has entered into a deal with Asia Television (aTV) to launch Baby TV programming in a half-hour block every weekday on the free-to-air broadcaster in Hong Kong.

Starting at 9:30 a.m. every weekday, Baby TV will present a mix of shows that cover the spectrum of early learning skills and development milestones. The content was produced under the supervision of child development experts and endorsed by the Hong Kong Education Bureau.

Gilbert Au, the assistant controller of public relations and publicity for aTV, commented, “aTV’s mission is to serve the local community with distinctive and diversified programming. We are delighted to team up with FOX International Channels to add another dimension to our English-language programming lineup and share this well-designed and award-winning learning environment with Hong Kong families.”

Rajesh Sheshadri, the territory head at Hong Kong at FOX International Channels, added, “Baby TV has proven to be hugely popular across the globe because it makes learning fun and promotes positive parent-child interaction. This partnership with ATV gives FOX International Channels the opportunity to extend the rich Baby TV content to thousands of Hong Kong homes which otherwise would not have access to this incredible resource for parents.”
