Baby Networks Appoints Licensing, Merchandising Director

LONDON, September 9: Baby
Networks has expanded its London-based executive team by naming Ralf Kies as
director of licensing and merchandising.

In this role, Kies will
oversee the off-air strategic commercial development of the BabyTV brand across
home entertainment, licensing and merchandising, fast moving consumer goods
promotions and retail partnerships on a worldwide basis. Additionally, his
responsibilities include developing broadcast partnerships for Baby Networks’
portfolio of audiovisual content through syndication of programming to
international TV channels.

Prior to joining Baby Networks,
Kies was the director of international licensing for 4Kids Entertainment and
worked on children’s entertainment brands like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Viva Piñata, Monster
Jam
and The Dog.

BabyTV, part of News
Corporation’s Fox International Channels, is aired worldwide on more than 150
platforms.
