DALLAS: HGTV, Food Network, DIY Network, Cooking Channel and Great American Country have rejoined the AT&T U-verse TV lineup after the provider was able to reach an agreement with Scripps Networks.

The channels were previously dropped from AT&T’s roster when the two could not come to terms for a new deal. AT&T had insisted the spat wasn’t about money, but the additional use of Scripps video content. The channels were only off for three days. The terms of the deal were not disclosed.

AT&T issued the statement: "We’re very satisfied that this is a fair deal that benefits our U-verse customers. The terms and costs of the deal recognize our growing subscriber base and give us the tools and content rights to compete with all other providers. We are very grateful to our customers for their support."
