ATF Pitch Winners Announced

Projects from China, Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia won the animation, Chinese-language and formats pitches at Asia TV Forum & Market (ATF).

The winner of the ATF Animation pitch was Riki Group’s Weatherville, selected from 41 entries and five finalists. Green Gold Animation awarded Riki Group with a $2,500 cash prize and $16,500 in consultancy services.

The ATF Chinese Pitch selected three projects: The Lost Phone by Ang Yee Sen (Malaysia) for online drama series and Ciao, Old Hero! by Low Hui Hui (Singapore) and 赤诚 by Link Sng (Singapore) for theatrical/online movie. There were 53 entries and nine short-listed finalists. The winners of the Chinese Pitch, co-organized by Reed Exhibitions and G.H.Y Culture & Media, each received a cash prize of S$3,500 ($2,573).

The winner of the ATF Formats Pitch was Don’t Block The Numbers by Gamaliel Paulus S. from Indonesia. The winner received S$3,500 to develop the concept, selected from 36 entries and four finalists.

The short-listed finalists presented their projects on-stage at ATF yesterday in front of a panel of producers and commissioners.
